Batteries last about 2 full cycles of spinning time limit. Can’t change batteries all day.
Bought this for my baby in the nicu. He loved it for ~10 min. Then it died. Took it home, changed the batteries (4 AAs). Brought it back. Loved it again for maby 10 minutes then turned off. Turned it in again and after 10 it died and couldn’t turn in again. Didn’t use sound or lights. Just the spinning. It’s beyond cute, but holy smokes. Also despise how it turns on sith music immediately. It’s like a beach sound woth birds initially haha. Awful choice to start with. I wish it turned on with nothing but spinning and I can choose if I want the other options.Sadly, I will be sending back because I can’t change batteries that fast.
Absolutely adorable
My baby absolutely loves loves it can’t stop staring. BUT 1 complaint is batteries don’t last too long. I wish it has a AC cord .So I turn off the projected during day and now and then I also turn off the option for it to spin as those take most battery life.

The mobile was pretty easy to assemble and came in a nice box.There is a QR code you can scan for a pdf download of the manual, but there is also a small flip book of the instructions included in thr box as well.Between the mobile and the remote it requires 6 AA batteries.It took my son an afternoon to get used to it but he has really enjoyed it since and has even found it comforting this last while.The first 3 buttons play different songs and will automatically change to the next song or themed sound of that specific buttons playlist. The bottom button closest to the off button plays only one song over and again, which is the one I use so it’s not so jarring on my son while he is sleeping.The mobile automatically shuts off after a half an hour of no interation, the lights being the last to stop and the mobile motor being the first to deactivate.Happy with the product and it was easily worth the amount paid for it.ððððð.
Battery eating, heavy mobile
Once I turned it on, it wouldnât turn off. There was still a dim light that you could see through the cracks in the plastic. It ate up 4 AA batteries in a matter of hours.The mobile is a lot heavier than I thought it was going to be. It is only suitable for a regular sized crib, not on a playpen or bassinet style. I was worried that the weight of it would cause injury if it landed on my baby.The remote was confusing but the buttons on the mobile were very loud, so the remote is imperative if your baby is sleeping.I love that the mobile actually rotated (itâs hard to find them these days), but the toys dangling werenât really that appealing.

For the price itâs not bad
For the price itâs not bad, but:- it is heavy and quite large so have to make sure it is properly secured to crib- a lot of sound presets with volume controls- the light option is quite bright babies noticed on the ceiling and switches between colour or can stay on one colour or no light at all- the actual mobile itself turns in a circular motion which seems to entertain babies and puts them in drowsy state for sleep- has a remote which is easy to use. There are also buttons in the neck of it but hard to see them when itâs dark.- functions as I would have expected it to but does look a bit cheap (babies donât mind ;)) I wasnât going for anything that matched the room just wanted something quick and easy and that I could remove promptly.
Stopped working after 2 uses
I was excited to use this product but unfortunately after 2-3 uses it stopped working. I put fresh batteries in both the mobile piece and the remote and no buttons seemed to be responsive. Too bad.
Have had the mobile for over a year now and have encountered no problems with it. It’s used evey day and everything works as it should including the remote. The batteries (we use Energizer nickel metal hydride 2300 mAh rechargeable) last about 2 weeks on a full charge with daily use. Our child loves the variety of music and sounds, enjoys watching the sea creatures moving and the lights cycling. He finds the giraffe color (yellow) and design amusing. The only thing that would make it better is cleaner and more precise milling on the projector cutouts with slight increase in light wattage to give a sharper image at longer distances. This mobile is definitely a winner for us. Even though he’s a toddler now he still enjoys listening to Jurraffee (his name for it) each night at bedtime. The button arrangement on the unit make it easy for the child to learn how to operate it making music track selection simple. I think some of the issues encountered by some have to do with the vendor used at purchase and how they obtain their merchandise. We have no hesitation in recommending this mobile.
Really like this mobile. It was easy to assemble. There are several ways to attach to any crib. The remote is great too. I had to return another mobile because the music was so loud. This one has a volume control which is good because certain songs can be loud Ethan the others. The light is a nice touch. And you can choose to have it rotate or be stationary.
Works as intended. Baby enjoys the light show. Quality of the product is okay. Music quality could be better.One thing I wish was easier was changing the batteries out because itâs not very simple.
I love the giraffe although him holding a crab is a bit weird. But hey good imagination for little kiddos!One thing I dislike is the music is a but loud there is an adjustment button. It only softens for one tune and immediately goes loud again. The settings are set per tune which I find kind of annoying. The remote control does not work as well (new batteries).I like the ceiling display my son looks at it and smiles. It’s a cute product just the music can be loud.
This is the best mobile ever. My grandson is transfixed by the moving sea creatures. You can pick your music, including nice classical tunes, and you can even project ceiling lights to keep not only the kid mesmerized, but also the adults!
