Easy to Travel With But Has A Weird Taste
What I really liked about these packs is that they’re far smaller than the usual sachel you get for these kinds of drinks. The one thing that stood out to me though was the flavour of it, it all felt very artificial and just off. The honey and lemon flavours don’t give off that natural flavour instead it all feels very medicinal/medical and makes you really aware that you’re drinking a cup of meds instead of a hot lemon drink.
Good third option for people that don’t like the liquid and can’t do pills.
Both Dayquil and Nyquil are my household’s go to cold medicines, but the taste is strong and some of us don’t like pills. So, this is an interesting alternative that is geared towards people like both my kids who don’t like the liquids taste (takes them about 20 little sips to get it down) and the pill (which they refuse to swallow). I tried it and its definitely a more neutral/soft flavor compared to the liquid, but I still prefer the liquid. It seems to work similarly to the liquid for me. It does not make me drowsy, but the warm liquid is soothing/relaxing.The one thing with the liquid is it’s hard to travel, this is a dry individual packet, so this is also a good through in the toiletries in case something comes up medicine.
Works great but not a fan of the taste
I usually buy Neocitran packs as I find drinking them in a hot drink is easier than swallowing a pill when you have a sore throat and the heat helps too. In comparison, these packs are much smaller and easier to keep in a purse and cheaper too. However, I am not a fan of the flavour. Maybe I got the mix wrong as it doesnât say how much water to use (I tried 8oz) but it was very fake honey plus medicinal tasting with just a little lemon. It does work but I found myself forcing it down.
Good option for pills and syrup
This is a good option to replace the pills or syrups in case you are not in a mood to have them. Very convenient to carry with you when travelling compared to syrups that you have to carry with a constant worry of bottle leaking or spilling.
Adhere to the recommended dosage of acetaminophen
This package contains DayQuil cold and flu drink, which includes acetaminophen (Tylenol). Be cautious not to take additional acetaminophen while using this product and adhere to the recommended dosage. Drinking it warm can help loosen mucus in your throat. The lemon flavor might be too strong for some, but you can dilute it with more hot water as long as you finish the entire drink to ensure you get the full dose of medicine. When you’re really sick, the taste won’t matter much, especially if your sinuses are blocked.

I like that they come in packets, pre-measured. When I am in a complete state I am in no shape to properly measure. They work as advertised and help provide relief to get you through.
easy to travel with
I have used DayQuil in the past in the liquid format. I like this powder option better for bringing DayQuil with me in case something comes up when traveling.I also like the powder option as I like to have a warm drink when feeling unwell. This powder is easy to use…just add to hot water. The powder mixes well in the hot water.Overall, a good hot remedy option for me that is easy to travel with.
