Great nightlight with lots of features but poor quality
Purchased this for my 3 yr old. She loves the stars and moon pattern and the fact that it rotates is great because it helps lull kids to sleep as they watch the pattern move across the walls/ceiling. Lots of different color combinations as well – you can switch from solids (green, blue, purple, red) and mixed (stars are one color, moon another.)Unfortunately, I have to give this 3 stars due to quality. The product is a little flimsy. The dome is made of a thin plastic film and easily caves in if you press too hard (which my 1 yrd old loves to do.) Luckily it can usually be “popped out” to return it back to its original shape. Also, the unit I got came with a defective power cable which means that if I want to use it on DC power, I can’t anymore. Not to mention that there is a little rattling sound when you move the unit – not sure if that’s normal or if something inside broke.Ultimately, I am returning to get a new one and will keep it because it is a good night light. But I do wish it was made of slightly more sturdy components.

Absolute crap nightlight
I am shocked the reviews are so good. This thing is so cheaply made and does not project stars on the walls. It just exudes a dull light, no stars or shapes visible on walls or ceiling whatsoever. I was hoping to turn my kidâs room into a galaxy, like the pictures. Not the case. When the rotate mode is on, this thing makes a loud humming noise so much that I have to turn it off. The cord is like two feet long (super short) and the nightlight is very cheaply made, the overlay part with the stars is made of papery plastic. What a crappy product!!!! Wish I had invested in a more expensive and better one. My fault I guess. I would NOT recommend this for kids.
Great nightlight
My son loves this nightlight. It is study and works despite my son dropping it a couple times. Itâs not complicated to use and is a great comfort to my son.

I purchased this for my son’s 2nd bday as a gift from his bonus brothers and my little one doesn’t go a single night without asking for his “twinkle stars”.Brightness is amazing, in fact we have to put it on the solid red for bedtime because the other options are usually TOO much fun for bedtime.A lot of other reviews mention how the plastic dome that has the stars is too easily crumpled or squished and while it’s true that my toddler regularly crinkles it, I am always able to just pop it back into place like nothing happened.What I love most about this gift is that I know the memories of singing twinkle twinkle little star under the stars in bed every night will last a lifetime. I cherish the new bedtime routine. The price point for the value is awesome. A purchase you won’t regret!
Bought it December, 2023 and now it’s October, 2024. Used it EVERY-NIGHT, I mean it. EVERY night. I know it’s a matter of luck as to how long these electronic items work, but Buy it!The build might look cheap, but the functionality is AWESOME.
I bought the night light to use at school with students. I use it as I play a movie for them or play a game on the aver board. The students think that its so cool that the stars are rotating around the room and that I can change the color. I have gotten multiple compliments. I recommend using batteries so you can place it wherever you want in the room.
Got the item one day before the promised date of delivery..kudos to Amazon for the prompt deliveryAbout the product… good and works well.. color combinations are visually appealing… only con I would say is it’s humming noise while rotating. For the price that’s not a turn down..
