Very happy- UPDATES
I am very happy with this item. It has everything I was looking for. The best thing is that you can control it on your phone (the app crashes often and needs to be re-started). The projections, the sound quality, the night light and brightness option, etc . Everything works great. I found setting the “routine” a little bit complicated, but I manually turn the night light, music and projections on every night.Overall, I am happy with this.UPDATES: Ever since I purchased this and said I am very happy with it, it broke TWICE within 2 months of use. Amazon replaced the first one and sent me a replacement. And this replacement also broke within a month. And by broke, I mean it stopped working and turned off middle of night by itself!Now I am very frustrated because I don’t feel like going through the hassle of sending this one back and asking for replacement, and also my toddler is so used to seeing his star and moon that I cannot even buy another product!
Miracle device
It’s a night lamp with tons of colours and light effects. It’s a sound machine that can produce various types of noises – you can even record your own voices or sounds and play to your baby. You can create a sequence of lights and sounds to train your baby go to sleep. All functions are controlled by an app connected to wifi. I don’t see any issue s with the app. Basic functions can be accesses by the buttons on this little device. The thing is very light and portable with rechargeable battery, the charge holds for about 4 hours, though. Overall, an amazing device for the money.
Great but battery sucks
This nightlight and sound machine is awesome! However the battery sucks and needs to be plugged in if wanting to use for longer than 6 hours. There is so much choice for colours, sounds, lullabies and stories. Only giving 4 stars because of the battery life
Randomly shuts off
This was working very well but suddenly started to shut off randomly with an error code. I only had this for 3 months. I will be contacting the company.
Multi function night light
Absolutely love this night light. I was looking at the Hatch but came across this which seems very similar and Iâm glad I picked this one to go with. You can save different settings on your phone so itâs easy to turn on and have your preferred setting already there. I love that itâs Bluetooth and you can be in different rooms to use it. I love that it has lots of music options and story options too. Would highly recommend this night light.
Good but could be much better
I have mixed feelings about this light/sound/clock/temp unit. It is time consuming and complicated to set up but once it is set up using the downloadable app (and worked out all the bugs in your ‘routine’) it is a very nice unit. It works best as a pre-programed unit. If you have to turn it on and off on the fly, it is time consuming to turn on. The unit does have manual buttons, but the touch sensor on top controls the night light, and I have to touch the unit several times to get it to register a touch (i have to wet my finger)… and annoyingly if you pick up the unit wrong and graze the area, it turns itself off. The app works ok, but it could be better. You can also tell it to play a story (from a bank of stories) but I noticed when you choose ‘play all’ or ‘ random’ the stories were in English and in French. Not sure if there is an option for only one language. You can set it with a moon projector on the ceiling for night and when it nears morning the moon can become a sun for an ‘ok to wake’ visual prompt. Personally I find the nightlight is too bright even on the lowest setting (you can change the color of the night as well), but the image projector on the ceiling seems to be the right amount of soft light to navigate around, find missing pacifiers, and still be dark enough to sleep. Don’t expect the projector to be able to point to the middle of the room. It can do directly above the unit only. I also wish the unit had realist looking stars and moon. The unit is expensive, but noticeably cheaper then it’s competition, the Hatch second gen, which I would say it is very comparable too in features and style, but no subscription required with this unit. Would I buy again? Probably. It is isn’t perfect, but it is a pretty nice.
Hacked?
This product is honestly terrifying. Itâs great when itâs working properly however it has a mind of its own. The brightness will turn up and down even when I try to correct it on the app..it will play different music/sounds randomly. I had to stop using it after being startled awake at 3am with the red light on full brightness and white noise on full blast (I had it on a low yellow light playing a lullaby). Maybe mine is possessed? ð I purchased the hatch and have had no issues at all.
Parental lifesaver
Transitioning our son from crib to bed was horrible, but once we got this, it completely turned things around. Our son now understands that red=bed and green=go. Plus, you can use it for naps, unlike the clock version of many of these that only allows one set time (our kid doesn’t go down for naps at precisely the same time everyday anyway). It has a whole plethora of features, and it’s super easy to use and take on vacation. Worth every penny.
