This is a great product and great price
This is a very low-tech tool for child minding. It works throughout my yard and now has a battery backup. I have used one at my son’s house and now purchased one for my own place. I highly recommend this product and the price is excellent.
Works great & portable
Pros – easy to use, can take it wherever we go, battery operated and can hear all the little soundsCons – we can hear each and every sound, which also means we hear the constant white noise machine that we have going. I wish it could block out the constant sound like white noise machine so we can only hear when baby cries, but it’s still pretty good and what we use at home. overall, recommend if you do not want one of the video monitors.
Good range across floors
I was looking for a non-expensive pet audio monitor and this one fits my needs pretty nicely. I’m using this on the main floor and the unit connects just fine from either upstairs or the basement. Sound is very sensitive so you won’t miss any noise at all.I hate that there is a super loud pre-recorded message every single time you turn both of them back on, something like “don’t sue us if you use them too close to each other and your ears burst”. You can press the “on” button to stop the message but it will be there next time you turn it on. If you keep the transmitter on, the receptor will not play the message but we keep both off during the day.The receptor drains batteries too quickly and we did not attempt to use it with batteries anymore. If our main intent was to use it attached to us with batteries, we would’ve returned it. But for a nightstand monitor works perfect.I recommend this product.

Very clear sound. Easy to use
Does what it needs to do and not much else
This sound monitor is super simple and does what it needs.No problem with connectivity between parent unit and microphone unit. I regularly use the parent monitor about 10 meters away from the microphone with several walls in between.Sound quality is fine and the sound of my child is easily distinguishable while a sound machine produces white noise right next to the microphone.Battery life is mediocre. The microphone unit must be plugged in and is not battery operated. The parent unit has a rechargeable battery in it (comes with product) and can be removed and replaced if you can find the correct battery elsewhere. The rechargeable battery lasts about two days without charging (I use it 3-4 hours per day).The parent unit has a small base and easily tips over with the slightest of bumps. I find this quite annoying but it does stand up when undisturbed.The worst part of this product: The parent unit will turn on without the power button being pushed under two circumstances; (1) when one plugs in the parent unit to charge it and (2) almost directly after one turns off the parent unit. At times, the parent unit will turn on after one or two minutes after turning it off. When it turns on, it will produce a short beep-beep to notify that it has not connected to the microphone unit. Several times I have turned off the unit only for it to turn on again and then it will turn on again after I had turned it off for the second time. This cycle would continue until I unplug the rechargeable battery so that the unit has no access to any power. This solves the issue and it doesn’t resurface for a couple of months.Overall, a good cheap option for a sound monitor. You get what you pay for.
Great product! One manageable flaw
Great product overall. I will still give 5 stars because it serves its purpose, despite a small flaw. The sound quality is great, the sensitivity is great and it has served us very well in knowing when our baby wakes up. My one complaint is that when you turn off the main unit, the base will keep beeping (and you have to turn the other unit off twice) which can be very annoying, such as when the power goes out. But if you turn both units off consistently, you can avoid this issue.

Works good and love the price. Volume is a bit low. And doswnt get much distance. But it’s perfect for me.
