Got this primarily because I didn’t want something that’ll wake anyone up at night or be a general distraction and it is perfect. It simply vibrates when done and connects easily with the Withings app. Great buy
Withings Thermometer is impressive and accurate!
My findings of the Withings Thermometer are impressive.I am a numbers guy and track data. So accuracy is essential to me. I take daily temperature readings amongst other readings like blood pressure, blood oxygen, ect, to track my health and see if something is off before symptoms appear. If you watch your vitals closely you will see a trend and then know when something is not right.So I had to test this thermometer. I have friends who are medical professionals, with their resources I was able to complete some control tests for accuracy. Tests were run five different times over the day and I was the lab rat or guinea pig. What ever you prefer. Temperatures were taken during the same time from three different devices.While not the most common way to take temperature any more in adults, I have learned it is still used in many hospitals and the gold standard for temperature, is rectal. Though rectal temperatures take around three minutes for a proper reading. So alternatives are used for speed. So just how accurate are the others? Oral thermometers approximately 8 seconds once in position. My new withings thermometer is seconds.Results of these tests were very similar. Very little difference between a clinical oral thermometer and the Withings thermometer. Rectal temp is always higher than oral or temporal temperatures as getting more of a core temp. After 5 tests the averages are as follows:Clinical Oral Thermometer 98.2Clinical Rectal Thermometer 98.78Withings Thermo â Smart Temporal Thermometer 98.1Good to have a base line of the variances. I feel confident that I can trust the new withings thermometer.This will be a great resource for my family.The thermometer once set up does not need to connect to phone to save recordings. It is synced by wifi. So when it takes your reading it syncs through the cloud. Also you can set up multiple family members and select them right from the thermometer. This will be a very valuable tool for me. In my opinion the expense is worth the benefits.

I look with affection at the old glass mercury thermometers. A sentimental favourite. But this digital device is the way to go. It integrates into Apple Health. Itâs fast. Itâs simple.

Best Thermometer EVER!
Super easy to use. Just remove the cap, press the button and swipe across your forehead. Readings are colour coded green, yellow or red. You can choose to save the reading or not. Saving the ready is also super easy. Just scroll down on the thermometer until you find the user name, then press the button to save. The app is also fully integrated with Apple Health. The thermometer comes ready to use. Just install the app on your phone and you are good to go. It is by far the easiest thermometer that I have ever used ! Love it !
Favourite Thermometer!
With 6 kids we have tested many different thermometers over the years trying to find the easiest and most accurate way to check multiple kiddos temperatures.I researched and ultimately bought this thermometer in Feb 2020 and have been happy with the investment ever since! It works great, is accurate, easy to take a sleeping childâs temperature and easy to swipe on the touch screen to add the reading to a specific child. Having the app record all temperature readings, sorted by child makes it easy to keep track of when otherwise busy taking care of sick kids.Love this thermometer and havenât ever needed to pick up another one in the 3 years since buying this!
nice little thing. i like how it saves your temps with the times and you can add if you gave any medicine, etc. good feature to show a medical professional if need be. a little complicated if you dont like technology. you have to download an app before you can use it.
