Smaller than it appears in photos
Itâs very small, but my toddler is small, and itâs the perfect size. Also, the materials are all great quality. Love it. If anything, it would be great if it were a couple of inches wider. Perhaps a slightly larger version of this product would be great.
Small, cute, quality
Easy to assemble with the provided hardware taking about 15 minutes.Small but I already expected this. I suspect it is a good size for my infant but for a toddler it would be better if it were like 30% larger for a toddler. 5 shelves hold 2 average sized books. Even small books do not expect to fit 3 across unless it’s the width of a novel. The top shelf will cover the bear’s face. So you can fit 8-10 books depending if you wanna cover the bear or not.Although it’s small, it is heavy solid wood. Smooth edges and nice coating. The chalk board is an unnecessary gimmick and cheapens the look of the shelf. Better off without it.I had this shelf in my cart for a while just waiting for a sale. It is expensive compared to other similar shelves. But if you want a high quality piece with cute flair, you’ll be happy with this one.
Well built, but too small
Well built and easy to assemble. The bookshelf is almost too small to be functional. Would prefer a larger size.
This is a beautiful and sturdy bookcase. Kids love it! You can fit a lot of books in it! Excellent craftsmanship!
Super cute for 2/3 yr toddlers. Perfect sized. Easy to put together took like 10 minutes.
This is very cute and sturdy. It took about 20 minutes to put together. I will say it probably wonât hold very many books, but I guess it just depends on how many you have. Use of the top shelf will cover up the little bearâs face because the shelves are pretty short. I would say itâs a little expensive for what it is, but if you wait for it to go on sale itâs probably worth it because itâs not a cheap piece of plastic junk like most things made for children.
I looked for a while for a bookshelf for my 8mo with the right size and also cute to fit in her small room. I was so in love with this once I was done building it . She loves being able to grab her books and so nice to see her reaching them without any trouble! Absolutely love it
This bookshelf is SO cute for our son’s nursery. The little bear design is so sweet, and I love the look of it. The quality of the wood is fantastic for the price. I also love the size – it’s much smaller than what I envisioned, but I like it because I know that it’s not an item that would be easy for my son to pull over like other, bigger bookshelves might. The assembly, which I did myself, was a little cumbersome at times, requiring a lot of screws and matching things up just-so, but doable for a solo-job. It holds a good number of books but not a TON. Overall, highly recommend!
