Let me start by saying, this is the first Amazon review I’ve ever done. That’s how much I love this product.My quest resulting in this sleep sack began with researching fire retardant usage in infant sleepwear. I slowly converted all of my 4 month old son’s sleepers over to either 100% organic cotton, or ones with a tag that explicitly stated the blurb about wearing snug fitting; no fire retardants. As the weather got cooler, I realized he’d be using a sleep sack and obviously they are not snug fitting, therefore would have to be organic cotton if I wanted to avoid fire retardants. I considered getting one from Parade Organics, although realized it likely wouldn’t be warm enough for the winter months (since his sleepers aren’t warm fabrics like fleece either, for the reasons above). Enter WOOLINO! It just so happens that I have become a bit obsessed with wool recently, so knew about the antibacterial and water repellent nature of wool. The fact this is good for 2 mos – 2 yrs, and all four seasons made it a no brainer. Add – the fabric being 100% certified organic cotton outer and SUPER soft, naturally fire resistant (without nasty chemicals) merino wool on the inside, and you have a PERFECT product. The price is completely reasonable for how well made it is and what it offers. The first night he wore it, he soaked through his diaper and onto his sleeper – it didn’t even touch the sleep sack due to the water repellent wool! That alone makes this worth every penny. The weight of it is so nice as well. He’s only been in it for about a week now, but I get the impression it’s helping him actually sleep longer! (don’t want to jinx it!)I just washed it for the first time today with some Eucalan wash, in my machine on delicates setting (cold, low spin, extra light soil level) and it came out fine. I read that a good way to prevent/reduce pilling is to wash it within the first few wears, so hopefully that helps because there already is a bit of pilling. Really doesn’t bother me though considering everything else.The packaging it came in was so beautiful, and one of the best perks is the little room thermometer it comes with! It tells you what sleepwear to have your baby in underneath the sleep sack based on what temp the room is. Genius!I bought the earth colour and it’s so beautiful. I would recommend this to EVERYONE 🙂

So beautiful and worth the price!
This sleeping bag is so soft and lovely! The merino wool is not rough at all. I put it on my baby and even she seems to love it! She’s a really big 7 month old and there is still plenty of room to grow. She settles when I lay it on her to put it on, maybe because of the routine of it, or maybe because it is so darn cozy! It is very well made, great snaps, and you can tailor the size with the under arm snaps to get it a little more snug. She is never tangled in it even though it is long to allow her to stretch out. The best part about it is that you get the coziness of the weight of the wool when you are going to sleep (think of a big duvet) without worrying that the baby will overheat. We’ve used the bag in all different temperatures of rooms and she hasn’t been sweaty or cold at all. We had other sleeping bags before (Aden & Anais, and others) and we haven’t had the same success. I also bought the pyjamas and bodysuit from Woolino and putting them together has worked like a charm. Just makes me feel even better that I know she will be comfortable all night. I use their guidelines with the thermometer that they provide and its always been perfect. We’ve even been in some really cold rooms and she has been toasty in her sleeping bag. We also cloth diaper with wool covers, so it is nice to have a sleeping bag that works well with this system…if she has a little leak nice to know she won’t be feeling cold and wet! We’ve had some food spills and spit up on the bag and it cleans very well and easily. I just can’t say enough good things about woolino and their products!

Wonderful Sleep Sack
Bought two of these for a shower gift for twins. These sleep sack from Woolino were the choice of the mother. She loves that they are four seasons, high quality, and washability. Highly recommend these products.

The best product for infants who can no longer be swaddled. The material is soft, high quality wool. Incredible easy to put the baby in; with the ability to grow as the child grows.We use this for camping, stadium events, family outings. Anything where our child is going to be out past bedtime. The car seat strap holes are fantastic and help to keep the body temp regulated in any climate.Very long lasting material, be sure to read the wash directions! A wool safe detergent and hang dry or hand cleaning.

I got this for a heavier weight than the cotton one we currently use. So far I really like it and baby seems confortable.It’s a nice feeling on both the inside and the shell and it’s easy to get on and off. It also washes well.
