WHY BENZALKONIUM CHLORIDEBenzalkonium chloride is an alcohol-free antimicrobial compound that has been widely used in the health care industry for more than 60 years in formulas for preservatives, surface cleaners, sterilizing agents, and leave-on, anti-bacterial skin treatment products. It’s also been used in many contact lens disinfecting solutions. At 0.13%, it is a safe, non-toxic and very effective amount for use in hand sanitizers for reducing bacteria on the skin, yet it is very gentle on the skin and eyes. Benzalkonium chloride hand sanitizer dries fast, but allows more than sufficient time for efficacious coverage. Additionally, it delivers 2-4 hours of residual protection.

Handy and helpful; cleans and sanitizes hands without that alcohol smell (and taste) if you are dealing with foods, or just want to freshen up before (or after) eating..Not an ideal size for carrying around with you in your purse, but it could be in a car, so when that fast-food craving hits you, you have a hand cleanser on hand.. not sure about the high and low temperatures? (check with instructions on the bottle first)A perfect guest to invite along when camping!
