They stick well on flat surfaces such as cabinets/drawers. It looks like you can use it on the wall as well but I’m not sure on the strength of this so I’d be more cautious about that. Overall, the stickiness is good and is a good way to childproof the home.
These straps are wide and strong the ratchet mechanism works great as do the release buttons.We did not use this as intended, so I will describe how we did.Anyway, I have a set of old bookcases. It always makes me nervous when my 15 month old grandson visits that he might tip over the corner piece (1st picture). I remove the breakables that are normally on the shelves, but I am worried about the furniture itself.Honestly, I was afraid that the adhesive might take paint off the wall when it is removed in the future — this was not addressed on the box it came in nor on the product page. The pictures on the product page show 3M adhesive, but the straps I received did not have anything printed on the peel-off paper, so I assume it wasn’t 3M.What we decided to do instead is attach the corner unit to the next one, using only one strap maybe a fifth of the way down (second photo). I am less concerned about the backs of the furniture pieces being damaged if we should ever decide to remove the strap, since they will always be against a wall.We tested and don’t see a way that my grandson can tip it over now. Having said that, we know we can alsays attach the second strap closer to the bottom if need be.
I really didn’t want to put holes in my wall, so I used these to attach my bookcase to the wall. They are easy to stick. I haven’t removed one, so I cannot say if they peal off without damage as advertised. I was worried that they wouldn’t be as strong as ones that were screwed into the wall but so far they are holding up.
Had these on for 2 months. These came off the wall without and left a hole without any tugging or pulling. If you want something reliable do not get these. Returning
This is easy to use and sticks well. You can undo the straps but it takes 2 hands and isnât super quick. This makes it better for the childproof part of this. The quality is good and it works ok.
