WELL PRICED!Those rascals will open the drawers and climb up like a ladder so they can get on top and jump off onto the mattress!Being a father, I personally feel the perfect solution for securing kids tall furniture (or any tall cabinet) has yet to be invented. The problem is that due to baseboard moulding, the furniture can rarely butt up to the wall.If you want to do it right, however, this will get you there. Also, because it’s stainless steel, these would be a decent bracket to repurpose, come the time to get rid of the baby furniture.USE THESE IF THE FURNITURE IS SO TALL (A TALL CHEST OF DRAWERS) YOU CAN’T NORMALLY SEE THE TOP OF THE FURNITURE, and attach these as the pictures show.If you measure VERY carefully, you COULD flip the wall side of the bracket downward and hide the bracket behind the furniture.
I use these mainly for bookcases because they’re very heavy and I live in earthquake country. In addition to that, children love to attempt cimbing bookcases when they see something out of reach. These brackets are very strong and they can be mounted in several different positions. I like to measure The heights of my bookcase and mount to the wall first so that the bookshelf hides the bracket. Then I screw the shorter end in to the top of the bookcase. If you don’t feel like moving your bookcase to do this, You can just mount it like a sideways l shape. The quality of these brackets are more than fine.
