Best Gate For Tall Dogs
I have two goldendoodles and bought this gate for them. The gate is very heavy duty and easy to install. It is very high quality and the pressure mounting works very well.

Great quality, bad design.
Spent and hour setting this gate up. I did last zip tie and TWANGGG! Gate pops outa place and appears bent.Instructions say to zip tie it back. But extreme force was needed.Over all. This was a waste of our time. A great quality gate. I really liked the metal bars and finish. But in the end. Poor design and gate would never latch due to high stressed bend from manufacturing.

So I installed it and all looks fine, But when the door shuts it doesn’t lock. To lock it into place, you have to press down on the door. It locks at the bottom but not at the top. No matter how many times you fiddle with the tension screws on the sides, it doesn’t fix the problem. They really do need to test this out before putting it out on the market because it’s not 100% safe for kids if you want it to block stairs. I would not recommend this to block a child from stairs 😒😒

This isn’t a tall gate,, but it seems well put together.. It was a pain to adjust!! It’s also a pain to open having to press top & bottom buttons together & lifting up on the gate!! I don’t need this for a child so I guess this would make a more secure gate for small children.. I have a Staffy ((Staffordshire Bull Terrier)) who I block from the back rooms only because she likes to visit the kitty litter box or chase the cat!! This gate works well against our 75lbs girl!! I need to order another gate for another room but I’m not sure if I want to get the same gate.. Overall thou it seems like an excellent gate for children.. I have arthritis so that is the main reason I’m have trouble with operating it..

This didn’t let me add this pic for some reason on my last review!!Hopefully my review went through as it disappeared when I tried retaking the photo again!!! NOT HAPPY!!! **ORIGINAL REVIEW- I’ve worked OVER 12 HOURS trying to install this new gate!!! It said it was supposed to be a SIMPLE INSTALLATION so I thought I would get it as I have arthritis in my hands, well overnight 12 HOURS LATER it’s still NOT installed!! I’ve tried all different ways to get the bolts in far enough into the gate so it could fit into those little cups, last night I could get two bolts into the cups (on the same side) but I couldn’t get the other two on the other side. Then this morning I put on a sticky gripping glove and I finally got one of the bolts on the other side in far enough BUT NOT that last bolt!! It wouldn’t go far enough in in order for it to fit into that cup into the doorway but yet all of the other bolts went in enough but yet the gate was STUCK in that doorway which is to my kitchen where my pups are and where my medicine is!! And it says DON’T CUT THOSE TIES TO THE GATE SO I WAS STUCK WITHOUT MY MEDS IN WHICH MY HEART RATE IS EXTREMELY FAST AT 147 bpm which my heart meds is supposed to control but I couldn’t get to those meds because the gate was stuck with the three bolts and the one without the sticky cup as it won’t fit in there with that cup!! Also I now figure out AFTER ALL OF THIS WORK AND TACHYCARDIA THAT I RECEIVED A BAD BOLT THAT DOESN’T WORK RIGHT (as I tried that same bolt in those other extensions and it didn’t work in those either!!) , now I NEED ANOTHER NEW THREADED BOLT AND A COUPLE OF MORE OF THOSE STICKY PADS AS I HAD TO PULL ON THAT ONE SIDE TO GET THE GATE OFF SO I CAN TAKE MY MEDS AND SEE MY PUPS!!!!**A NOTE TO THE COMPANY- PLEASE PUT EXTRA THREADED BOLTS AND STICKY STICKERS IN THE BOX!!!!This was a TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY!!!
