Missed Opportunities and Confusion
If your baby has been trying to chew on your cat’s or dog’s tails, get them this instead. If you have never chewed on one, a falcon tail is so much better! Or give your baby a butterfly wing, the tail of a macaw, or something REALLY exotic. Don’t worry; anything chewable is securely sewn on. Altogether there are 6 flying animals, 4 with chewable parts although the pages of the book are themselves chewable. The colours are bright and beautiful.Do you like sooth or crunchy? The covers are rattly, the inside pages are smooth. The whole book is washable. However, all 4 of the really chewable parts should have a distinctly different mouth-feel. Two of them have the same feel as the smooth pages of the book. The butterfly wing and the falcon tail feel similar to each other even if they look like their textures should be different.I also find it disturbing that the bird labeled a woodpecker is actually a common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis). More upsetting and confusing to everyone is that if you select ‘Birds Tail’ to be sent to you, it will show you the photos from the book labeled ‘Forest animals’ and if you select ‘Jungle Tail’ it will show you a book with the title ‘Flying World’. For them, the book with the words, ‘Flying World’ on the cover- which is what this review is about- is synonymous with ‘Birds Tale’ even if two of the four chewy tails are not tails but different parts of anatomy and even if only 2 of the four most chewed animals are birds. Confused? They were.Prior to any discounts or coupons, this animal book sells for $14. It’s still a cute, chewy book but there are far superior chewy-tailed animal books out there for another couple bucks. This book also does not come in a cardboard box like some other books do, so it is less giftable.It’s not a terrible book but I would give this book only 3.4 stars if I could.

On reçoit une surprise au final
Ces «Livres pour bébés de 0 à 6 mois, jouets sensoriels à contraste élevé pour bébé de 6 à 12 mois, toucher tactile, cadeau de Noël pour garçons et filles de 0 à 3 mois, livre d’apprentissage précoce» sont pour le moins déroutant. D’abord dans la simple description, on arrive pas à savoir si c’est pour les 0 à 6 mois, 0 à 3 mois ou 6 à 12 mois. Ensuite, on parle de livreS au pluriel et on montre 3 différents livres empilés ensemble (oiseaux, jungle et marins) mais on ne reçoit qu’un seul livre au final. La page d’achat est aussi étrange : il n’y a que 2 choix de thème et ça ne correspond toujours pas à l’image. Toute l’entreprise relève du hasard : on ne sait pas ce qu’on commande et on reçoit un seul livre, surprise. Bref, c’est en tissu de différentes textures et couleurs, certaines parties brillent ou font du bruit quand on y touche. Je ne pense pas que bébé sera contrarié par le mélange, mais pour celui qui achète, ce n’est pas clair du tout.
