Good camera for the low price
This is a good working camera. It has a nice quality image and everything works well on it. The night vision is pretty good. It’s very easy to use and the App is pretty good too. I think it’s a very fair price and a good camera. It’s plastic and light weight , but it feels fairly strong.

I was looking for a simple Wi-Fi camera to check on my elderly father at home to make sure he’s doing okay on his own. I got this 2K Full HD WiFi Camera because of its motion tracking and two-way audio, which seemed ideal for peace of mind. Perfect for ‘skink’ watching
Got this for my DIL and her new skink. She expressed a desire to be able to remote watch while at work or away and this is the perfect solution to that desire!It was easy to set up and she is happy, which makes me happy. She loves that she can commicate with her furry friends and the skink while at work or away for a while and she is perfectly happy to show anyone who wishes to view them as well. It is funny to watch the cat, watch the skink moving around.Can’t wait for the baby to watch on this as well!
Works great remotely
The camera was pretty easy to pair and setup. The voice through the camera when talking is pretty clear as well as the sound coming through the app. The visuals when it’s both dark and light are very clear. There is a lag when adjusting the cameras direction through the app, but it’s not too slow maybe like 2 seconds. It works very well and I will for sure keep using this. The only thing that would be better is if the cord to plug in was slightly longer.
This is a functional indoor camera that works well through the XVV app, allowing you to get a 360 degree view of the room. Installation was not super easy, as I did need to reset the camera after the first attempt, but it installed normally on the second attempt.I was actually hoping to install this through the Tuya app (and save having yet another app on my phone), because it appears to use the same protocol, but alas the Tuya link was not recognised by the camera, so I’ll have to settle for using yet another app on my phone. The app is fine though, and is intuitive to use with all the functions you need to use the camera.You can install an SD card to save videos, and there is also a cloud subscription option, but out of the box it is fine for real-time monitoring. Overall, for the price, it is a good value camera that does the job.
Instructions were very easy to follow for both the camera and the viewing app. Can scroll the room to view or even use a microphone to speak via the camera speaker (handy for communicating with pets).
A little tricky to set up initially because it is so loud and the âDiDiâ sound the book describes is unpleasant. The quality is great though and the speaking function works well. I can check the camera while Iâm in the house or out of the house and it has the same quality, very happy with this to keep an eye on the pup.
We often look after our daughter’s dogs so we got this camera to keep an eye on them if we are out (they can be quite mischievous). It is quite simple to set up as you use QR codes for everything but I did have a couple of stumbling blocks.You set the camera up using a series of QR codes. The first code is easy to find, it is in the instruction manual. The second code is on the base of the camera but the instruction manual does not tell you that.During the setup process, the camera tells you when it has completed some actions and it is then supposed to emit a sound also indicating that it has completed those actions and is ready for the next step. My camera did not always emit the sounds mentioned in the instruction manual so I was not sure if I was setting it up correctly.You have to set a password when you register your account and also when you configure the camera but it doesn’t say if they have to be the same password or two different passwords (I used the same password and didn’t have any problems so it must have been okay).Once the camera is set up you can configure it how you want (eg to send an alert to your phone if it detects motion, to issue a warning that the property is being monitored, to follow motion or stay static etc).After configuring the camera, I tried it out to see how well it tracked someone walking through the house and if it would indeed send me an alert it detected motion within the house. It tracked very well and sent the alert promptly. It issued a warning that the property was being monitored which was very clear.It switches over to night mode when you turn the lights out so the picture is black and white and a bit grainy. It probably would not be clear enough to identify an intruder but is fine for pets. I have attached pictures of what you will see during the day and what the image is like in night mode.You can also set the camera to privacy mode when you are home and don’t want it monitoring movement and this caused the biggest issue. It went into privacy mode easily but wouldn’t come out. it took 20 mins and multiple tries before it would exit privacy mode.All in all, the camera works very well. The set up issues were minor. It didn’t take all that long to get the camera up and running but the problem exiting privacy mode is a bit worrying. I don’t want to have to spend 20 mins trying to get the camera to exit privacy mode each time I need it on. Hopefully, it will resolve itself in time but for now, I have had to take off one star because of it.
Works amazing!The picture quality is great. Setting it up was so easy with the step by step instructions.I love that it can move with motion sensor. Although it does make a vibrating noise while turning, which annoyed me to know end for awhile because I couldnât figure out where it was coming from ð¤£Over all though itâs a great camera.
