It was a good price but I sent it back because it was way too hard to spread on my daughter’s skin…it was like trying to spread super thick refrigerated peanut butter..she kept saying ouch because it was pulling the hair on her arms

Very chalky!
I hated this sunscreen. Itâs soo hard to put on as is very chalky and doesnât come off easily either.
Hard to rub in
This sunscreen arrives in a box, and looks like the photos shown on Amazon. The box it comes in is easy to open, and the tube itself is easy to squeeze. The protection tab was quite hard to remove.While this does provide good sun protection, and it is absolutely unscented and fragrance free (smells of nothing), it’s very hard to rub in. With tanned skin colors, it makes for chalky skin.It does stay on well in water for awhile, but it’s also quite difficult to wash off.I only recommend this if you have very pasty kids and don’t mind rubbing the cream in a lot.
Fragrance Free, No Nanoparticles & Made With Natural Ingredients
I really like this Kids Mineral Sunscreen by Calidou because it has an SPF of 40, it is fragrance free and it is both water and sweat resistant for 40 minutes. It is made with 100% natural origin ingredients and it is free of nano-particles which is what I look for in a sunscreen, especially for my kids. Nano-particles are so tiny that they can be easily absorbed into the skin and could be toxic or cause damage to living cells and organs (especially in high doses). I also like that it is certified by Health Canada.It has quite a thick consistency but it is fairly easy to spread if you work fast. I made the mistake of squeezing out too much so I dabbed some on one of my daughters legs first and then rubbed it into the other leg. When I came back to the first leg, it was extremely hard to rub in and get optimal coverage because it became way too thick and sticky. Now I only focus on one area at a time and try to squeeze out small amounts and add more as needed.It looks very white when you first put it on but the white colour fades In less than a minute. It hasnât caused any irritation and the SPF seems to work well because my kids havenât gotten burnt since we have been using this product. It is quite expensive for a standard size bottle so I think I will stick to Green Beaver unless this one goes on sale.
