I Absolutely Love This Thing
I honestly wouldn’t have ever guessed that I would enjoy this sound machine so much. I think my favorite aspect about this device is how surprisingly good the sound quality is despite the incredibly small form factor of the device. This machine is basically the size of a golf ball but it somehow capable of outputting sounds at an incredibly high volume if desired. You can seriously crank it to it’s maximum setting and be able to drown out all external noises. In my opinion that is a very important trait for a good sound machine. And on the other hand you can also set the volume very low to the point of being whisper quiet. Regardless of what the sound level is at, I promise that the output sound does not ever appear tinny or distorted. It must be magical because it goes against my understanding of what is required to make a speaker sound good. Generally a speaker sounds better the larger the sealed enclosure is. However this device is miniscule so I honestly don’t understand how they did it. lol.I am not joking, this machine really is special. During the Thanksgiving that just occurred, I was playing the nighttime cricket sound for fun (which is probably my favorite) and I noticed that this machine is able to ‘throw it’s voice,’ for lack of a better term. In other words, the sound appears to be coming from somewhere it is not. And because of this lovely phenomenon, I invented a game to play with my family that incorporates it. The game is very similar to an Easter egg hunt, except there is only one egg and that egg is replaced with this sound machine. The machine is hidden by someone either indoors or outdoors with the cricket chirping sound on low. Everyone else needs to find the machine but it is a bit more challenging than it sounds due to the magical voice throwing ability that the device has.The machine itself feels very small and portable. I like the included strap because I tend to bring this device with me sometimes when I go for a walk or to go out and socialize. The device has a nice grip like texture to it which makes it easier to hold onto. The machine is also able to remain on for hours which is great. However, the louder the sound volume and the amount of time the battery lasts are both inversely proportional to one another. The good news is that this machine is able to remain on and produce sound while it is plugged in via USB-C. It also is built with a convenient sleep timer, which is obviously very useful for a device that is designed to help people get to and stay asleep.For the past 15 years or so I have slept almost every night with a fan running in the background to produce the ambient noise that I have grown accustomed to. I prefer the sound a fan makes because I find that it drowns out most other noises. Fortunately this device is able to produce a noise that is similar to the fan noise that I like. There are about a dozen different sounds preloaded onto the device. Half of them are what I would classify as nature sounds (including a lullaby or two), while the other half are more akin to white noise sounds. They are all decent and my tastes may change about which one I like the most as time goes on.I think the current price is quite good considering how much I have grown to like this product.

The timer button gives 30, 60 or 90 minutes of run time before automatically shutting off. Or it can run continuously. The power button has a little raised nib which makes it easy to find by feel. When turning back on it restarts the last sound played and maintains the volume so you donât have to go through all the sounds each time to find the one you like. I find some of the sounds sharp which would be disturbing, but there are waves and white noise which work well for me. Not as much variety of sounds as I would like. A few white noise ones that are very close to each other. Itâs so compact that it can easily be tossed in a purse or luggage to travel with you. It also comes with he charging cable, but not the block to plug into the wall.

Very powerful for small device
So we got this because of my Sisters baby who frequently visits but seems to be very alert to sounds, so first I had tried it with the different white noise sounds just to check how effective it was, I was really surprised how powerful and loud the sound was coming from such a small device, it seemed to mask any noise that was generated around where the machine was placed, which it does block my partners snoring sound which I didn’t realize until now how loud they actually were. So when we set this up for the baby in the room we set the timer to 1 hour, after a little over an hour I came to check in again and saw the baby sleeping peacefully and looked over to the sound machine and noticed it had switched off like expected, it did its job keeping the baby sound asleep and seemed to block out any unwanted sound outside the room, or it was drowning it out, so I highly recommend this for anyone that might be a light sleeper and needs to block out any unwanted noise or disruption.
The obvious and strongest feature of this sound machine is its diminutive size, which makes it extremely portable and very easy to travel with. This is something that I could even just carry in my coat pocket. It is as lightweight as it is small, which contributes to the convenience factor that it offers. I donât think it is quite good enough to compare in sound quality or variety of sounds with its larger counterparts, but again, this is an understandable trade-off because of itâs small size. And, importantly, although the sound is not quite as good as many larger units, it is indeed still goodâ¦surprisingly good for the tiny speaker that it has. I counted approximately 15 or so different sounds, split between nature sounds and various kinds of white noise. I would have preferred more of a variety of nature sounds myself, but still, it has some of the most popular ones including sounds of the ocean, rainfall, and babbling brook. Of course it is also a nice feature that one does not have to worry about batteries, as it is easily charged via a standard USB-C type cable. I think this is ideal for hotels to block out noises coming from other rooms/hallways, and even office settings.
This small white noise machine is the perfect thing to use when traveling. I have stayed in noisy hotels where guests or outside street noise made sleep almost impossible. It’s good to know that I now can pack this cute “Dreamegg” and have a remedy to sooth me to sleep. The machine comes with an instruction booklet, but the instructions are basically just one page. There are few buttons to use to operate it. The on/off switch is also used to cycle through the sound options. There is a timer for 30, 60, or 90 minutes, and up and down volume buttons. The sounds can be a bit hard to figure out what exactly they are supposed to be, and I didn’t see any information about it in the booklet (it’s mostly the same information in many different languages. Still, there are several bird sounds, plenty of rain, and some whiten noise/fan sounds. I really like that the device is so small and portable! I will be happy to have this on my next trip to ensure a good night’s sleep, no matter what my neighbors get up to!
This is a nifty white sound machine that is so tiny it will actually fit in a pants pocket. Perfect for throwing in a toiletry or beauty bag when travelling for those times when there are distracting noises keeping you from falling asleep. It comes with a large variety of sounds, only a few of which I’d use, but that’s probably enough. It’s also handy for relaxing a fuzzy baby who you’d like to put to sleep, but it’s just very noisy.
This little machine has 16 different sounds ranging from nature to lullabies to plain white noise. Some of the sounds are more soothing and realistic than others, in my opinion, and the sound of someone saying “Shhh” is kind of creepy to me. I do think this would be great for travel if you have a hard time falling asleep. I like the 3 different timer options and also the ease of use. The white noise and crackling fire are my personal favorites. If you are looking for a sound machine that is easy to use absolutely anywhere, look no further, this is it.
This little thing is a powerful speaker for sure. There are numerous sounds to choose from but I wish there were more. Overall, an amazing little white noise maker, excellent for travel because it is so tiny but also excellent for bedside at home! deserves 5 stars but Im being picky with my desire for even more options of white noise sounds.
