Good camera for a cheap price
Activation using a QR code works like a charm. There have been great improvements since the 720p version. Now Google Home app recognises the device as a camera and allows you to stream from it right away without any delays (there was a delay of up to 30 seconds with the old camera when the stream had to go through Geeni or SmartLife app and then to Google).For now (firmware 5.5.3, SmartLife 5.14.0) the only issue I see is being unable to add the camera to any routines like the existing one to activate motion detection, so I had to set an individual schedule for this one.

Does not record offline
I went away and had to take my starlink with me for work. Found things missing in my house and NONE of these cameras recorded anything offline. I have 128 GB cards in both. I am extremely dissapointed
Iâm an idiot
Second time editing my review because Iâm dumb. I missed a permissions setting for the geeni app when I first launched it which had been preventing me from connecting the cameras despite hours of chasing my tail trying to solve the wrong problem. Make sure you give the geeni app the permissions it requires when you initialize the app, and you should have no issues connecting the cameras.
These 1080p work way better then the 720p

Intuitivo en su instalación y de calidad premium merece la pena por su software muy estable que puedes monitorear todo el tiempo.

I ordered a different camera last week(cheap, mini spy cam) and got exactly what I paid for, cheap product. Spent almost three hours trying to get it to connect to the app on my phone(which had a less than 2 star rating) so I gave up and returned it and bought this camera! It was only $12 more expensive than the other one but man! I should have bought two cause I love this thing so much! I just needed something small to put outside my hermit crab tank so I could watch them when I wasnât home while they were out and about and this works just great!Set up took less than 10 minutes. Downloaded the app, connected the camera and got it positioned all in under ten minutes. The picture quality is good, the night vision is good.The only thing Iâve noticed is that when you turn on the lights, if the camera is in any way tucked behind something or close to something else that blocks the infrared light, the night vision doesnât switch back to normal automatically. You almost have to show the camera to the light before it registers it. But all in all, itâs a wonderful little device! I like that you donât have to pay for storage if you donât want it. This first one is just a tank monitoring camera for me so I donât really need any storage because itâs not for security purposes and I like that I donât have to pay simply to view my camera. It does come with a memory card feature that seems to be viewable from the app as well.That being said, the options for the cloud service that it DOES give you are very reasonably priced. $20 for an entire year with a 14 day continuous recording time is almost unbeatable! Very happy with this purchase and I am going to be buying more from this company! For reference, I pay $50 a month for my Vivint service and itâs not that great! Lol!
