Don’t buy it (update – it gets worse)
TLDR: BUY SOMETHING ELSEUpdate: I’ve been in contact with the vendor and they are still not helpful. After much conjoling and back and forth with customer service they agreed to replace the item. Which sounds great until they mention that the item is “currently not available”. They also noted in their email that they may be using refurbished parts, which would be fine if I was paying for a refurbished item. Paying full price for a refurbished item does not sit well with me, especially when its a fairly espensive. They also mention that you have 5 calender days to report an issue with the replacement, so after that i guess you’re just out of luck. I asked for my money back so lets see how this goes. 3 weeks and counting with no monitor…If I could give zero stars I would.The monitor worked perfectly for 3 months, then the power cord broke (plug separated from cord) and the monitor stopped connecting to wifi (it needs the wifi to work). Contacted Hubbles for assistance and they were polite but not helpful. They wouldnt send a new power cord and wanted me to pay for shipping to send the monitor to them for “testing”. Oh, I also had to make a YouTube video of myself trying to reset the monitor to prove I’m not an idiot. It’s pain the the a$$, just buy something else
Unreliable unit
I purchased this unit specifically for the two cameras. One of the cameras stopped working due to a hardware issue. Customer service told me they will send me a replacement camera as it stopped working within the warranty period this was on May 2, 2023. I followed up multiple times as I have still not received my camera. I was first told there was an issue with the Canadian supplier and the camera was not available, this was on May 31.I followed up on June 23 and was told a shipment was expected at the end of that week and the camera would be mailed the following week. Still no camera so I followed up again today and was given the exact same response from June 23. I am beyond frustrated!!! i purchased this to ensure the health and safety of my baby and it wasnât cheap now I am stuck with no resolution in sight.
Monitor stopped working after 4 months
When we first got this monitor, we loved it. It worked great for our 2 kids and we loved the app feature where you can go back and watch how long baby slept. But the monitor broke after 4 months. Not happy!
Can’t zoom out enough, not great video quality, motion detection not functional half the time
I already have 5 blink minis, but I needed something with continuous view, and not only on my phone. This does do that, but I’m disappointed with a few things. The video quality is very low on the parent unit, but good on a phone. Worst of all, it needs to be mounted like 6-8 feet high and fairly far back to see an area of only 4×4 feet in its entirety, and it doesn’t come with any mounts. Not entirely sure if I’ll keep it or return it yet, I ordered mounts to see if that helps.Edit: honestly, don’t waste your money on this hubble cam, buy a blink mini instead, especially now that you can buy it with the pan and tilt capability.This unit doesn’t detect movement even half of the time it should, no matter how sensitive you set it.The app for it is also glitchy and useless.
Stopped working with in a month of use
Camera stopped working due to manufacturing issue within warranty time period, I was told a replacement camera would be sent. I have followed up multiple times and 5 months later I still have not received replacement. Very disappointing.
Junk
This company does not stand behind their product. If you read other reviews there are many reports of hardware issues, poor quality. After them not supporting the product, I purchased for my daughter another one at 1/4 of the cost with amazing reviews. Save your money on this one. Spread the word.
Not worth it
I chose this monitor for my registry as a friend recommended it.I just started using at the end of February and there are several problems with the handheld parent unit.1) The screen does not light up when my child makes sound and it is set to the highest sensitivity level on the app.2) The battery life is terrible. Even after being charged daily, it dies quickly. I turn the screen on around 12 a.m. and only use it until 7 a.m. and it will die on me. The screen is only used when I hear sounds through the app, as the screen itself doesnât light up as it should. (It is not on continuously)3) The maximum sound level is so low. I have to use the app on my phone, sitting beside the screen to direct me to turn the screen on.This makes for a terrible sleep, as I am concerned I am not going to hear my baby when I need to. Plus I also have both bedroom doors open in order to hear the baby, as the monitor is not reliable.I am very disappointed, because for the price I was expecting something of a better quality.If someone else was to watch the baby overnight and not have the app as a back up, they would likely not hear when the baby was crying.Save your money and choose a different monitor.
Issues from day one, refusal to fulfill warranty
I bought this monitor in September 2023 and immediately upon starting to use it I had issues with it and have continued to have issues (night light on the camera turns itself on – though they CLAIM this is not from someone hacking the camera, temperature shown Is always several degrees incorrect, camera randomly restarts, app will not show the room unless I physically restart the camera and reconnect it to the app etc.). I contacted support and provided proof of said issues as well as proof of purchase. I was told by support that I would be issued a new monitor under the one year warranty, as my monitor was less than a month old, however, they stated that it was currently out of stock so they would send it once they were back in stock. Months went by and I would hear nothing from support unless I contacted them myself and asked for an update, I was continuously told the item was still out of stock. It has now been 8 months since I bought the monitor and contacted support, and they will no longer reply, despite contacting them on multiple occasions. DO NOT BUY if you want a monitor that works and/or a company that fulfills their basic one year warranty.

Overall, we are pleased with the performance and features and we are happy with our purchase. We love that this monitor has both a parent monitor for viewing at home and an app for viewing from anywhere on our smart phones. Note: Make sure you get the right app. There are a couple Hubble Connected apps in the app store but only HubbleClub will work with this monitor. Set up was simple. We just followed the instructions and connected to the parent unit within minutes. Connecting with the HubbleClub app was just as easy and now we can view our little one from anywhere. Picture quality has been great (even in night vision mode). You can also pan, tilt and zoom the cameras remotely which is cool.
We bought this for our nursery a month before our baby came. We did our research, we liked the included and FEATURED idea that you can use it with Alexa as a lot of our household runs on that. We bought an echo show so we specifically could monitor the nursery in almost every room of the house. Well, it âconnectsâ to Alexa if youâre wanting to know the temperature of the room, it does not connect to the camera and it glitches and shuts down often with Alexa. We can use our phones and the monitor, however if I need my phone for work or other things I cannot use the app at the same time to check in on baby. The monitor included sometimes has trouble connecting to the camera immediately, it also does not have that great of video quality. My biggest complaint about the included monitor is that it isnât loud enough!!! With the volume all the way up, thereâs times I imagine I could sleep through my child needing me, luckily I know this so I havenât allowed myself to sleep under this systems âmonitoringâ therefore I have a camera/baby monitor in my nursery for no reason. I feel for $169.99, this isnât it. Many parents we know use other devices with absolute peace of mind that they have all they needed, we were promised one thing and the Alexa feature is a bust, the included monitor is quiet, I think a walkey talkey with an included listening feature would be better at least I could hear when my baby needs me. I read reviews on the Alexa app after purchase which was my fault I should have beforehand because the lack of capabilities using Alexa has been a problem and complaint for YEARS now. Your money is better spent on a different baby monitor in my opinion from our experience.
These cameras are great for viewing our nursery and kids’ playroom. Visibility and audio is great. When you use the app on your phone and talk through it, it comes out of the camera weird. But the kids can understand what you are saying.
We want to love the camera but we just like it. The one we love unfortunately doesnât ship where we live. The product works ok but has definitely delays even with the parent unit, it canât be set up without the app since it runs on wifi, and the parent unit is over complicated to use.We like the white noise option it has and the ability to watch even when we are away.
