  1. Good looking device but doesn’t work on 5g wifi
The title says it all, don’t buy if your wifi router only works at faster speeds.

  2. Connectivity issues
I did not buy this on Amazon but it’s worth warning parents about. To put it blatantly, I do like this unit but I only wish it would work properly. It doesn’t. Sometimes I CAN control the music and lighting from my phone app, and other times I can’t. Usually at inconvenient times when I have to disturb my child and go in their room to work the controls manually. It’s frustrating that it is unpredictable and there’s no reason for the lack of Bluetooth control- it literally just picks and chooses when it wants to work or not. Don’t buy this.

  3. We have a baby monitor from same company so thought this would be nice addition. Only worked “correctly” for a month or two and even then, many times the app said it was offline so to shut off, you had to unplug. Then it got to the point where it skips and just shuts off the noise, then a minute later it might come back, then shuts off, then maybe 20 seconds later come back, then off again for 2 minutes, etc. So can’t use it as a white noise machine which is why we bought it. Not to mention my husbands android has never really worked with the app cause if he turned it on with his phone in the app, then it would play for hours until you physically unplugged it. My iPhone had a timer of only 1 hour and that is only choice for time which seems too limited. Also, buttons on the front have never worked for me.

  4. I️ love it it helps my son sleep so well

  5. I e used two Hubble Connect products. The first was a baby monitor. So great in theory. The biggest advantage is that you can listen and look on your phone and the audio will continue to play when you are in non-sound-playing apps or when the screen has been turned off. My husband and I were able to use a single headphone (an ear bud that hooks over the ear), so we could take baby shifts while sleeping in the same bed and the other didn’t have to hear the crying so loudly. It let us sleep in the same bed again or even go out to a cup de sac gathering or two while baby slept and we had one ear listening in the room. I didn’t care too much that the video was only so so on clarity. It was good enough. HOWEVER, the connection was a major problem. The camera had to be installed high above the crib to get a good look at the whole room (we didn’t want to have to reinstall it later when the baby was big enough to be in a toddler bed and moving around the room). So, every time the connection went out, we either had to live without a monitor or go in, move the crib, stand on a step ladder, and reset it, which took some time, then undo all that, often in the middle of the night. When we got rid of it, we did so with prejudice. I thought I would never use Hubble again. We had another baby. We use ring cameras in both rooms (indoor stick up cams, because they have two infrared lights to make an amazing image in the dark – we taped over the blue light that comes on when there is movement) and cheap (but amazing) vtech audio monitors with parent units that stay on always downstairs to let us know if we need to check the cameras. Once the oldest was loud enough to call out without needing a monitor, we didn’t need one for at night in our room. With the new baby, we wanted to be able to use a headphone again when it was time to move back into our room. We tried to find something that had a phone app that allowed us to use a Bluetooth earbud so it didn’t wake us both up. The only one that panned out was also crap and no longer supported by the company. I came across this device ($50 seemed a bit much to experiment with the quality, which was the price on their website, but the $24 it was going for on Amazon was worth the experiment. I didn’t want the nightlight or sounds, just the audio monitor that connected to my phone. For that, it is great when it’s working, which is 75% of the time. However, the light comes on when it turns on or resets, a bright blue that wakes the baby. It needs to reset more than I’d like. You can’t see it on the camera well, because of the color. I didn’t realize it was waking the baby up repeatedly 4 am one morning until we woke up. I placed the light in the closet, a few inches from the crib edge with the door cracked and the audio monitor is still ok, limiting how much the light can impact baby if it goes off. Still annoying, but a risk I will take to have a monitor until we don’t feel we need one. One other major annoyance, a few nights ago they had repeated issues that caused on and off connection. My husband went and slept in the nursery. Then a couple days later (perhaps trying to fix the issue), the company did maintenance to the app and scheduled it for OVERNIGHT. You could not use the baby monitor from 10pm-3:30am when you most need it. But I didn’t know until the middle of that time that my monitor went off because they don’t warn you it’s happening. They have terrible customer service and you have no return options if you bought or were gifted these items at a baby shower, where you don’t even test the product properly with the baby until it’s past the return window. Overall, this product is good for a $24 monitor with the phone app, because no one else does it. If Hubble built it into a simple audio monitor that didn’t light up or make sounds (because the app is way too convoluted for easy use and it’s easy to accidentally set off sound at night, especially the first few nights before you get the habit of going to the places you need for audio only), that would be a big improvement. If you could just open the app, hit start audio and be good, that would be so much better. If they could add dark mode on the app and fix their long history of connection issues, also awesome. Maybe if they didn’t try to do so much and focused only on audio or audio and video and their connection issues. I wouldn’t recommend it otherwise. If you don’t need a constant audio connection overnight, there are so many much better options. Don’t go with Hubble. Definitely don’t subscribe either.

  6. We loved this device for my daughter. It was so nice to be able to turn on her music and the “color show” as we call it from bed in a different room when she woke up in the morning to buy ourselves some time to wake up. However, after just a few weeks it will no longer connect to our phones and even the buttons on the device itself will not play music.

  7. Tries to be fancy , I just want the rain sound and it has like a 2 min clip the cycles but goes stone quiet before looping that wakes my kid up.
