I have a 3 month old baby and right now her hands are always in her face to she has to wear gloves all the time. These gloves fit perfect! I was so happy because I saw some reviews making me question the fitting but theyâre honestly perfect! The elastic is tight enough that it stays on even though her hands flail all over and the gloves themselves are a nice size for her growing hands and Iâm sure theyâll fit her for a couple more months to go.Only downside (and reason for 4 star) the material is quite thin and when her hands go in her mouth the gloves are soaked through and her hands in turn are still drenched in saliva. It doesnât absorb any of it. But wouldnât stop me from buying them. Still really good job of protecting the scratching.

My 5m boy often self soothes by rubbing/scratching his head and on many occasions has savaged his poor scalp and left deep bleeding cuts. These mittens do the only thing that I care about, which is to stop that from happening. All it basically does it put a layer of fabric between his nails(which I file every day) and his skin.Yes, the elastic does leave a thin imprint on his wrists but the elastic is pretty stretchy so I’m not worried about circulation.The elastic does loosen over time. He’s managed to rip a mitten off here and there. But even more expensive mittens have done this. So I’d rather just buy some cheap ones and throw them out when they lose integrity.These mittens are big enough so his fingers aren’t terribly restricted so he can still hold on to things.They’re very thin, single layer fabric so I would not count on them for warmth.They’re just a single stitch seam so inevitably when he goes into a super finger sucking mode, he has managed to tear a hole through the mitten, but not too many.For the price, these do the job. It’s been a total pita to find higher quality mittens for babies beyond 3 months in stores. So I caved and am ordering another set. They serve the purpose I need them for and they’re inexpensive to replace.

These were great for my newborn daughter.As first-time parents we were concerned about our daughter scratching her face – we tried cutting and biting her nails but were very nervous about doing this….We had other mittens for her but they just did not stay on – it seemed to be only a matter of minutes before she had pulled them off because of the weak elastic and loose fitting.These were great for her – the elastic was stronger on these without being so tight that they left any marking on her wrists – the elastic, while strong, was soft.Also having the selection of colors meant that we were able to match with whatever clothes she was wearing.I factor the price into my reviews as I expect a more expensive product to perform better and/or have a longer life span than a less expensive product.I do a lot of my shopping online and I rely heavily on other customers reviews (both positive and negative) when making my purchasing decisions so my review is a true representation of my opinion.
