Reviews

  1. Fits perfect!
Exactly what i wanted!.. but baby still refused to use 🙁

  2. Worked great but..
Nipple was as expected, my son still just wants his bottle. Will try again in a few months

  3. Perfect Fit for ComoTomo Bottles
Bought these to transition our baby from bottles to sippy cup. They fit perfectly and are built well. A little pricy for what they are, but they did their job.

  4. Cheaply produced
Was really looking forward to this item which would allow me to keep using our expensive Comotomo bottles a little longer. Unfortunately, the plastic material is cheaply produced with little bits sticking up (this is the straw connector) . Can’t use this part as it’s not safe. Will try and use the sippy top on its own once baby is a little older, but this is definitely disappointing for an expensive product.

  5. My son can’t figure it out
My son uses a straw for water but he doesn’t like this straw for milk. Also seems to be difficult to clean

  6. Bad shopping experience
I was so surprised when I received and opened package to see this broken and dirty stuff. I have never had such an awful shopping experience like that. I can’t believe it’s prepared for a baby! What a shame!

  7. great transition nipple
I got the straw cup transitional nipple, my daughter loves he comotomo bottle and won’t have her milk in anything else, with this transitional nipple I was able to get her to start drinking her milk but the nipple makes the botle like a Sippy cup. loved it and the weight attached to the star is perfect now she can drink out of it even while she is standing up.

  8. My almost 10 month old refuses all sippy cups and doesnt try to hold her own bottle. We found these and tried them but she refused them at 8 months. We tried again at 10 and she learned how to use it immediately. Highly recommend!

  9. My son waa previously bteastfed until he gave it up. He was on kiinde bags and i switched to the kiinde sippy spout and he took thay great. He didnt like tipping a sippy cup for milk. I hate cleaning the munchkin weighted straw cup. I thought i found the right solution with the nuby cup cause it had both the sippy spout and a weighted straw but alas the straw attachment wouldfall out with milk cause of the fat.So far i really like this thing. It comes apart easily. For most thorough cleaning you still have to take the system apart into 4 pieces: the nipple, inner bendy straw, the bit that attaches the straw to the nipple (very tightly and securely may i say) and the weight. But unlike lets say the munchkin weighted straw cup all the parts are straightforward to clean. No crazy complicated nooks and crannies. Just need a thin straw cleaning brush like the one that comes with the munchkin (disappointed that thia rather pricy kit doesnt come with a brush) and another small brush. I love that all the parts that touch milk are silicone. The como is so much easier to clean than a standard sippy. The cup will leak only if squeezed. Understandable since it is soft silicone and thats just what happens same as if you squeezed the como with the standard nipple. The handles arent “attached” but sit between the bottle rings and the nipple. The only issue with that is it can kind of tip while attaching the nipple and then you can screw the top on wrong and it will leak. So just be careful to screw it on properly. Not an issue in my book.Nipple is made from nice soft silicone. Very good material. Seems comfortable to use.I think itll make a perfect milk cup. He likes it so far and took to it better than anythingAlso i did cut the inner straw part about an inch because it’s very long and gets bent too much inside a 5oz cup. With an 8oz itd be perfect.

  10. So far so good hoping this will help baby ease into sippy cups

  11. I love these for my baby to help him drink without lifting the bottle. They’re not the easiest to clean and they are not impact proof. The tubing for the straw is very thin. Thankfully they included a small pipe cleaner with it. The pieces come apart easy enough, but it’s a bit of a chore to clean well.We have tile floors, so one side of the plastic crossbar broke after a couple drops. It still works! That’s the only issue we had with the straw setup.I think the handles on this are terribly annoying. They make closing the bottle difficult. We don’t use them at all.Despite a couple issues, I’m looking at buying another set! I love that I can get more use out of these bottles. This is also a great first step to baby’s independence. They are able to drink from the bottle without having to lift it.

  12. I bought the straw and spout hoping my 11 month old would finally take a sippy cup. Unfortunately she didn’t like these either which is obviously not the sellers fault because it’s actually a great product. My issue is the cost. I wondered even if she did take it, how many 20+ dollar sippy cups could we justify. The bottles are so expensive and for just a nipple and handles 10 dollars is outrageous. I bought them out of desperation, which made it more disappointing that she wont use them. Also for the price a tiny pipe cleaner to clean the straw should have been included. Obviously since we use comotomo bottles and not dr brown we don’t have any of those tiny ones lying around.
