The good buy , easy to setup, small size high quality image , I just the price was the same for black color .I was not happy about the delivery, the driver left it at the lobby, not at my door ( safer)
Best yet – the sleep mode is great
These are the perfect camera to have in the home. The sleep mode where it tilts its lens down into itself is a nice peace of mind.We’ve had 3 of them going for a year now with no major issues. One of them struggled to scan the QR code for setup but thats pretty minor and otherwise works flawlessly.They pan and tilt fairly fast, are super quiet when moving (a dog will likely still notice but people probably wont).Mounting options are nice, we mostly have them standing upright but have one mounted on the ceiling too.

The Wyze Cam is sleek and unobtrusive, fitting seamlessly among decor. It’s a simple, black square that activates via smartphone, making it an attractive yet functional gadget. My girlfriend isn’t a fan of cameras, so we keep it off when we’re home. I bought it for peace of mind, strategically placing it to check if I’ve turned off appliances. The design is practical, functional, and of great quality.
Very dissapointed!
At first glance the camera looks good until you start noticing things that kill the fun for you.The image is permanently washed out where you have white colors, even on overcast days when these photos were taken.I wanted a camera that could record birds visiting my patio and this proved horribly insufficient even at “HD” which I put in quotes because the image quality doesn’t seem HD compared to HD on my cell phone, after I switched to HD just to compare.As you can see from a small distance, on an overcast day the whites are so washed out it’s impossible to see any detail.At smaller distance the image becomes better but what’s the use of sticking the camera up the birds beaks!I checked online, support to see if there is a fix to this issue, after several firmware updates, no change!Furthermore I found loads of users asking the same question in reddit and wyze support forums and other forums with absolultly no resolution to their problems.If you are using this camera as a security camera, I just hope the home invaders don’t wear white clothes with awhile cap or hoodie because it would be impossible to tell who the heck came and went.On the positive side the night view is quite good and also offers a night color view which was cool.The build quality is also very good and it comes well packaged with all the screws and a small wall bracket, and cables.But due to the washout issue, sadly this will be a return for me! I had high hopes for this camera but I am highly dissapointed.
Great camera – installation can be tricky but great, read my review for details
If youâre installing this outdoors they recommend to purchase the outdoor plug as the one it comes with is meant for indoors and not weatherproof. The outdoor one only comes in white but easy to install and you will need the adaptor plug because it needs to be flush against the camera in order to install a bracket. I purchased a bracket that is further away from the wall than the one that comes with the camera.Note, the software only has an Alexa option (just an update on this comment, even though it only has Alexa in the software, I was actually able to add the device to my Google account )and you will need to purchase an SD card in order to have the free service, when you go into the app and you click on each photo, it will prompt you to purchase cloud service but you donât need this if you purchased an SD card I personally purchased the Wyze 32 gig card.To view your pics/videos from the SD card in the app, click âeventsâ then click on a photo that was taken and click âplaybackâ. Worry when you see under events at the top right of the screen next to the search icon is a picture click it and youâll see a nice view of all the pictures on that camera.The track motion is a cool feature but doesnât work well in the rain or snow as the camera tries to focus on each droplet or rain or snow so youâll want to turn that off during precipitation otherwise, the feature is very good.All in all, I am very pleased with this device. I was quite concerned about installing it at first due to having to potentially purchase a cloud service, but you donât need to. I think there are other functions that you might have to. Iâm just getting into all of the features and will post more once I find more.
Worked great for the first 2-3 weeks…
So, I bought this to monitor my back deck from the inside and for the first 2-3 weeks, it was so great but wasn’t able to view when I wasn’t home! Then, not sure what happened but both cameras, a few days apart from each other, suddenly lost all connection, lights were red dots on the front and had to delete the devices!! Weeks later, trying so many times, in order to get at least one of them online, I had to rename my router with 2 bandwidths (Ghz). I finally got one of them working but now every time I go to check my deck in my Wyze app, I have to RESTART the camera. I can’t even travel and monitor my back deck!!! Very disappointed after members of my family recommended this brand!
Great camera!
We got this camera to monitor our puppy at night or whenever she is alone. This brand was recommended to us for home security but what sold me on this model was the coloured night vision and zoom. I was skeptical with it not being 4k but aside from that itâs got tons of features like pan and tilt as well. We actually get nice quality videos and even photos. The base has a good standard size that can fit most stands, like my old tripod for a ring light. It comes with a bracket that you use to screw it to a wall but while renting an apartment, we try to avoid puncturing walls. The motion tracking is great since it has pan and tilt, the camera follows whatever is moving. I would recommend this product to pet owners, parents and for security camera in general. It says it is good for outdoors too but I have not tried it.
Me parecio una camara pequeña con diseño bonito y funcional, la calidad de la camara es muy buena y tiene algunas caracteristicas como motion detected y lo que mas me gusto tiene varios tipo de soportes adecuados a los espacios que necesites, aun no le pruebo en exterior, fue solo para interior.
Iâve been using the Wyze Pan Cam, and itâs honestly one of the best purchases Iâve made. The pan-and-tilt feature is super smooth, and it covers a wide area, so I can easily keep track of everything in the room. The video quality is really good, even at night, which surprised me given the price.Setup was quick, and the app makes it easy to control the camera and check motion alerts. The two-way audio is a nice extraâI didnât think Iâd use it much, but itâs come in handy a few times.Overall, itâs a solid little camera that works really well without breaking the bank. If youâre looking for something reliable and easy to use, Iâd definitely recommend it!
