Works well off grid
We have this camera attached to an outbuilding on our rural property about 100 feet away from the router, which is a Starlink Gen 2 if anyone is interested. The router is inside a 60 year old tin can travel trailer. There’s no other obstructions and the camera picks up the internet signal just fine from that distance (the app says the signal strength is 55%). So far initial testing and use has been great. We can log on remotely using the app from our phones and monitor the property from anywhere. The camera has a wide field of view and the pan / tilt functions work very well. There’s a bit of a delay in using the app to move the camera – a second or two – but no biggy. Night vision in regular B&W is fine and the colour option looks amazing. We haven’t delved into motion detection or recording, but early impressions are very positive. Thinking of getting a second one already.Edit: 17AUG2024:So we have had this camera operating continually for almost 2 months (and by “operating” I mean still connected to Starlink, which is itself plugged in to an off grid inverter) with daily app monitoring. The solar panel has kept the camera battery charged without any issues. Logging in remotely has been a breeze and the app is flawless so far. Without an account only one person can view live images remotely. You can have the app installed on multiple devices and if you log in with one device, it’ll sign you out of the other(s). However if you set it up to remember username and password, logging back in with another device is extremely quick. App works well on Android and iPhone – both cellphones and tablets.
Good Camera, Clear Video Image, Small Solar Panel
The camera and solar panel were simple to install, and came with clear directions. The solar panel is small and has ample cable length to attach with the camera located several feet away if desired. The only issues are the panel cable is permanently embedded into the panel which can limit threading it into certain places, and demands that the panel be detached from the base in order to screw it on without twisting the cable. This seems to prevent keeping the panel completely immovable on the base.The app is OK. The wi-fi reception works well.I haven’t been able to assess the battery life just yet.I recommend this product.
Great camera and features for the price
Installation was pretty straight forward with the manual. The provided app is great and responsive. The camera is installed outside in canadian winter conditions. So far, seems to work great in cold weather.

It comes with a long cord on the solar panel, giving you more options for placing the panel. Has the option of plugging into electric outlet, if using indoors. Excellent colour image, motion light at night, instructions for use are clear and set-up is easy. Cloud option or SD card option for recording, which is great. Livestream on my phone is wonderful and works very well. I appreciate every aspect of this camera, including night vision and recording, option to use the 2-way microphone and alarms, and options for capturing (people, vehicles, animals, etc.) Also, their after-sales support is accessible and very quick to respond. I am very pleased with this ieGeek security camera. (I bought the ieGeek Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor-Solar & Battery Powered Camera System for Home Exterior Surveillance, 360°PTZ WiFi Cam with 2K Color Night Vision, Smart Siren, Motion Sensor, Works with Alexa). It’s an excellent quality camera in this price range ($80CA).
Good Customer service
I recently bought an ie geek camera , I love all the features and the price wasnât bad . I like the fact that I can use a SIM card and have 6 free seconds in the cloud .At first I was disappointed because i couldnât figure out a sensor and notifications problem . I contacted costumer service and I had a very nice experience, they guide me every step of the way to resolve my issues ,and continually reassured me they would help me until I was happy with the solution , needless to say Iâm very satisfied with the excellent customer service and my issue got solved in a promptly mannerThe camera is perfect to my needs , to keep an eye in my driveway . I can set it at night to trigger a light and or sound warning if someone enters mydriveway. Yes , so far Iâm happy with it .
Good camera for cost
I ordered 4 of these cameras with the solar panels and have them outside. I have used them for 1 month.Pros:Clarity is great, batteries with solar have never needed charging. Get movement notification and very easy to set up and install. Would order them again.Cons:Donât follow movement like my Lorex does but Lorex did cost more. When I turn the camera on it takes a while to load so if you donât buy a memory card for the history to be saved then you will miss the movement.280
Great security camera for the price
The camera was fairly easy to connect to the app. Support responded within a couple hours to help me with settings. The picture is ultra clear and works well at night as well. So far the solar panel has no trouble keeping the battery charged even on the cloudy days.The pricepoint is great

I was impressed with the quality for the cost. I wanted to give it sometime with the cold weather in Quebec Canada before reviewing. They are easy to set up with the app. You can add more then one camera in the app for easy access. The quality of the image is good at night. The only thing i can say that would have been a great bonus was if the camera zoomed on the persons face when they detected a person. On a good note you can zoom a bit when you are viewing live.

Sinon elles fonctionneront moins bien !Je recommanderai rapidement d’autres produits dont la sonnette avec carillon !

Funciona perfectamente. La instalación mediante las instrucciones y la aplicación del teléfono, no es nada complicada. Buena calidad de imagen, tanto en color como en blanco y negro, diurna y nocturna gracias a su luz al detectar movimiento. Con la tarjeta de memoria, en mi caso de 128, hay espacio para grabar cientos de posibles incidencias, las cuales de producirse, las manda al teléfono como aviso, pudiendo ver la grabación de lo ocurrido en el mismo instante.Echo en falta algo mas de autonomÃa de la baterÃa, aunque tengo que dejar pasar un tiempo, es decir, tener cero o pocos avisos de incidencia, pues al principio de instalar la cámara, todo fueron pruebas de su funcionamiento, ( provocar grabaciones de noche y de dÃa para ver las imágenes, alarma sonora, audios…etc), provocando continuos avisos de actividad que “devoraron” la baterÃa en apenas 2 semanas. La carga es fácil, mediante cable usb, no siendo necesario desmontar ni mover la cámara de su ubicación para no mover el enfoque de la zona que se haya hecho.En resumen, muy buena calidad de imagen, buena transferencia de sonido en ambas direcciones, alarma sonora potente. Buen producto.
Je suis vraiment impressionné par la qualité de cette caméra. Lâinstallation a été très simple et rapide, même pour quelquâun qui nâest pas particulièrement bricoleur. En quelques minutes, elle était opérationnelle. La qualité de lâimage est excellente, et elle fonctionne parfaitement jour comme nuit.Après plusieurs jours dâutilisation, je peux dire que cette caméra répond à toutes mes attentes. Elle est intuitive, et lâapplication est facile à utiliser, permettant de garder un Åil sur tout ce quâil se passe. En plus, le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment imbattable pour les fonctionnalités quâelle offre !Je recommande sans hésitation cette caméra à tous ceux qui cherchent un produit fiable et accessible.
I didn’t have much optimism about this product, considering the sub-£50 price, but it does everything I wanted and more. Picture is clear and hi-res, sound recording, fully controllable with the app. I currently record on a 128Gb card but cloud storage is available for a small fee. The battery lasts weeks without a charge, and with the solar panel I don’t think it’ll ever run out of charge, even in winter. A brilliant piece of kit.
